How do I evaluate an economic activity?

Click on to rate the activity you have created.

Step 1: Taxonomy eligibility
Taxonomy eligibility means that the economic activity you have created can be assigned to an activity defined by the EU. In the left-hand area, you can

  • Assign an activity via search
  • Scroll the list
  • use the button . If you want to select this option, a NACE code must have been selected beforehand. Once this has been done, the tool will suggest possible activities directly. Important: This suggestion does not replace a professional judgement and only provides guidance.

To assign an activity, tick the checkbox here:

If you are unsure about the content of the activity, you can click on the respective official description of the EU:

By clicking on you must also enter a justification for your assignment and upload any evidence / preliminary analyses. Without a justification, you cannot request approval for the economic activity; possible evidence is optional.

After selection, a new area for the next step is displayed on the right-hand side.

Step 2: Taxonomy conformity

You must now carry out the conformity check in accordance with the taxonomy. The respective catalogue of criteria depends on the selected activity.
Do you already know which environmental objectives you want to assess? Then you can select and deselect them using the button . This helps you to implement technical analyses that have already been carried out efficiently and leanly in the tool. Criteria for all environmental objectives are displayed by default.

Note: Envoria is continuously updated as soon as there are new environmental objectives, criteria or taxonomy activities.

The question catalogues can be expanded. Grey means that the respective assessment has not yet been completed and the status should be in progress. This is only updated automatically once the assessment has been completed.

The catalogues are structured in the same way and enable you to carry out a structured analysis of conformity:

The questions can be answered as follows:

  • Yes
  • No - Attention: Usually leads to non-conformity. A corresponding note will appear here.
  • Not applicable - It is possible that certain questions are not applicable to your specific situation. If you select not applicable, the answer will not be included in the assessment.
  • Reset - The answer given can be reset in this way.

As soon as you have answered a question, you must give a corresponding reason:

After answering all questions, the status changes according to the answers you have given.
